Meaningful homeschooling happens around our well-loved kitchen table, where lessons are learned, books are read, creativity flourishes, and memories are made together.

Around our kitchen table, you’ll usually find open books, sharpened pencils, art supplies scattered across the table, and plenty of conversations that wander far beyond the lesson plan. It’s where we work through math problems, dive into great stories, create messy art projects, ask endless questions, and celebrate the little victories that come with learning something new.

Our homeschool is built on a balance of strong academics, creativity, and real-life learning. We believe children learn best when they’re actively engaged—whether that’s reading together on the couch, exploring a new hiking trail, painting at the kitchen table, conducting a science experiment, or discovering something unexpected on an afternoon adventure.

Here you’ll find the curriculum we’re using, favorite books, hands-on learning ideas, art projects, homeschool encouragement, and honest glimpses into what homeschooling looks like for our family. Some days go exactly as planned, while others take unexpected turns, but we’ve learned that some of the best lessons happen in those unplanned moments.
